What is the flour glue for
As you are probably already guessing, realize the flour glue will allow you to have a liquid adhesive based on flour and water with which you can combine the card. Of course, we're certainly not talking about a glue that has a very high level of adhesion, but homemade glue will still help you in creating simple projects, such as papier-mâché ones, because the glue remains translucent when it dries.
This glue, sometimes called wheat paste, also has the characteristic of being able to thicken with the addition of heat. Just make the glue when you plan to use it, because it has a shelf life of a few days. Therefore, it is a rapidly deteriorating product: after a while from the moment of its original creation, you will no longer be able to use it.
Therefore avoid creating in exaggerated quantities! Instead, it is much better to recreate it every time you need it, also considering that it is very easy to re-propose it every day, should it be needed.
What do you need

How to make flour glue
At this point, once you understand what you will need the flour glue for and what are the ingredients that you will need to obtain to make it, we try to move on to the operational phase by verifying, step by step, how to make flour glue.
The first thing we recommend you do is combine 1 part of all-purpose flour with 2 parts of cold water in a bowl. Once this is done, mix the solution you have thus obtained to be able to combine the flour with the water in the best possible way, so that it is well blended. Stir the glue for a long time to eliminate the lumps that form, until you get a sufficiently smooth mixture.
Considering that you may not have been precise with the distribution of the "quotas" of your product in flour or water, try to regulate yourself. You can add more water or flour to adjust the consistency as needed. Don't be afraid to add one or the other ingredient: nothing will happen! In principle, if the product you are mixing has many lumps, it may be worth adding some water and mixing for a little longer.
Once the substance is smooth and dense to your liking, you can use it to be able to glue sheets of paper and make your best and most creative compositions with papier mache.
Store the DIY flour glue
Unfortunately, as we have already pointed out a few lines ago, this product does not have a particularly extended duration. In fact, you can keep the homemade glue in a covered bowl. Put it in the refrigerator and use it within 3 to 4 days.
If you want to make one denser glue, try pouring 5 cups of water into a saucepan. Then bring the water to a complete boil and put 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour and 1 cup of cold water in a bowl. Mix the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Then, pour the flour mixture into the boiling water. Reduce the heat and gently boil the solution for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens. Remove the glue from the hob and let it cool before using the glue. Store what you've made in a covered container for 2 to 3 days.
Also try adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt to help retard the growth of mold that could inevitably appear in the container and never forget to stir frequently to generate a better yielding product.
